Christmas Page layout

Happy Monday to everyone.  I have been away for a few weeks.  Having just come back from a family vacation.  I want to take the time now, to wish you all a blessed 2014!!!

Well here goes......... my first blog entry for 2014!!

I have decided to work on some Christmas pages.  It was such fun doing these photos on Christmas Eve and as a family (we don't often do the family photo thing), we had some really good GIGGLES!!

I have based my Layout on the Scrap Africa sketch challenge No 25.

I used a brick wall stamp, some texture paint, rafia and some red chalk for the background.

For the flowers I used LSHD patterns,  My paper Garden vol2.  I ran them through the cuttlebug and used some perfect pearls inside the flower.

The little Christmas embellishments were from cards that I have collected overs the past few years.  I also found some left over pom-poms, tags and ribbon which was also used on the page.  It was really fun doing this page and I think it turned out nice from my left over scraps.

PS:  My AIM this years it to use the STASH I have!!!! I have also made a second page, to go with the first to create a double page layout.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you like what you see I update my Facebook page regularly.  Be sure to stop by and say HI :)

Thanks ~ Michelle
