The new month is upon us and it is time for a new sketch challenge. YEAH!!!
I must admit it did take a little while for me to come up with something. I interpreted the sketch as a girly layout at first glance.
NOT TRUE!!! I managed to do a boy layout, added flowers, stenciled butterflies and the final touch was a flourish of little pearls.
Flowers: Paint with Gesso and then spritzed them with some blue ink.
Butterflies: Cut a stencil from an old X-ray with my cutter and chalked the stencil.
Flourish. I used the rhinestone feature on my SCAL program, cut a stencil and then marked where I wanted to put the tiny pearls.
For this page I used SVG files
3D Butterfly
Circle borders
Fancy flourish
