Feeling Sketchy Blog Challenge #107

Good morning today we have a page layout challenge.  Be sure to enter to be eligible for the prize.

This layout was inspired by some pictures of our new puppy that got hold of my knitting basket.  LOL.

I made up some knitting to add to the page.  I used kebab sticks to knit with and then just cut them shorter.

Feeling Sketchy Challenge #104

Today we have a Layout challenge over at Feeling Sketchy Blog Challenge

For this page I created my own stencil to use, added some colour mists and as you can see ended up getting some on my photo.  DISASTER as I can't seem to find any digitals of these photos.  This is of my son and his Grade 12 school leavers farewell.  In the end I used them as I don't have others.  I do think it didn't turn out too too bad.  At least one day I can tell him I did scrap his farewell.  LOL.

Layout Challenge #98

Here is our Sketch layout for the month.  I loved this layout. 

 For this layout I was able to capture a photo of my son on a recent trip to the sea.  He was super excited as mom got a new camera and he got my old one.  He has always shown an interest in photography.  He was so concentrating on taking photos that he missed me taking this one of him LOL!!!  I don't often get to take pictures of my boys anymore.  They think they are too big to stand for a photo from mom!!!

Feeling Sketchy Challenge #92

I LOVE LOVE layout sketches.  Who feels like trying this one out?  It really got the creative juices flowing once I got started.  Here is the sketch.

 I used some white acrylic paint on the background.  I smeared the dollop of paint with a credit card.  x1 6x4 landscape photo. 

Some bronze perfect pears over the white paint for contrast and a few paper rosettes for something extra.

Feeling Sketchy Layout #89

Time for our May sketch.  I LOVED using this sketch.  So many circles, just so different from the usual format. 

Please feel free to join the challenge.  There are some awesome sponsors this month.

This is my take on the sketch.  

I added some textured paint and used my own stencil.   If you are interested in making your own textured paint, there is a great tutorial on the Feeling Sketchy blog how to do it yourself.

I also then turned it into a double layout.  I do love adding more pictures to my pages.

For the journaling part, I decided that I would add some text to a photo.  This meant I could add another photo to the page and still got to say something LOL!!
