LSHD Thankful for Challenge

Hello again everyone,  I don't know what happened the last week or where the year has suddenly gone.  Things are a little crazy this end of the world.  Schools are coming to an end, holidays approaching.  I am super excited to go on our annual holiday to the sea.  We leave in a few days.  Before I head off I would like to share with you the project I did for LSHD.  I had a really hard time with this and wasn't too sure what I would do.  I have been working with vinyl a lot lately and here is what I came up with.  I used

3D Butterly for this project

I used a frame less photo frame.  Under the glass I used white dabber paint and painted two different masks.  A Butterfly and some bricks.  For the masks I used and old X-ray of my son.  They were just lying around.  I cut out my designs and then used them as a mask.  When the paint was still wet I sprinkled glitter over the wet paint and let it dry.

On the glass I created some word art in scal by listing all the things I was thankful for.  I then cut this all from vinyl and adhered it to the top of the glass.  This frame will be going in my craft room just as a reminder of what I have to be thankful for.

I hope to see some great projects, and remember to stand a chance to win some free file post your project to the Little Scraps of Heavens DT BLOG or our FACEBOOK page.
